Le Cafe Miche needed to convert their paper-mailing of their monthly event calendar to an electronic format.
Le Calendrier Miche was developed to meet their needs. All the postage and printing costs were reduced to zero, and labor to fold the flyer and stuff the envelopes has been reduced to a few button clicks.
Le Calendrier Miche sends bulk mailings of whatever appears in its preview
window.
It maintains a contact list, a web page for standardized content, and handles
the details of sending email to the contacts in the list.

- Web page collects subscriptions/cancellations/changes and emails them to the contact list. (example)

- This program uploads the locally produced email content to the web page.
- Contact List features:
- Retrieves subscriptions/cancellations sent by the web site.
- Automatically deletes contacts with invalid email addresses.
- Manually add, remove, and edit contacts.
- New subscriptions since last mailing are flagged so that you can send mailer to them only.
- Mailer features:
- Content can be the Web site page, any given web page, or any local content that Internet Explorer can display.
- Actual email size is very small for quick transmission.
- For local content, all images are attached inline.
- Content is properly displayed in all tested email clients (Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Outlook, Outlook Express).
